PATCH: Fix for bug #2456 and xml4com compile fix

Please find attached the fix for bug #2456 and a fix for an MIDL error when
compiling xml4com.dll (Note that the version() specifier to MIDL must have a
major.minor format, so 1.5.1 is invalid in this context.)
