DO NOT REPLY [Bug 43062] jvmtiEventVMDeath event doesn' t return in JVMTI when shutting down tomcat 6 as a service.

I don't see any significant differences between the 5.5 and 6.0 shutdown code.
Tracing through the shut down process appears to show the same process
occurring with the latest 5.5.x and 6.0.x.

>From a profiler point of view (Yourkit) I also seem the same behaviour in all
cases - "Local application "xxx" at port 10001 has terminated or connection
lost.

Which version of Tomcat 5 were you using and what version of the JVM?
