The [table query overview |https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-1.13/docs/dev/table/sql/queries/overview/#syntax]mentions:
{quote} * Unlike Java, back-ticks allow identifiers to contain non-alphanumeric characters (e.g. {{“SELECT a AS }}{{my field}}{{ FROM t”}}).{quote}
The "my field" identifier appears without escape back ticks as shown in screenshot below:
