See the screenshot: netbeans-no-information. Atm I need to guess, what the diff is between those files, due to no information is seen in the diff. I use a plugin called show and change lineendings, which shows which line ending has the left and which has the right. This is just to see the information, but w/o this plugin, I don't know why there is a diff.

If I push to github, every line will be red from the old and green from the new one. In IntelliJ you see on the top of the window which line ending the files have. So if the file from remote has LF and mine local CRLF, I can see it in the diff window and can figure that problem out that I accendently switched the line ending. This is very handy and needed to not commit such files that where changed automatically.
