A:The ETTK is an IBM {{{ AlphaWorks }}} Software Development Kit for the development of emerging technologies, including autonomic, grid and of course web services. It includes Axis binaries (not source) as well as WSDL4J, {{{ LotusXSL }}}, UDDI4J and WSIL4. As such, it can be thought of as a superset of Axis. 

According to the ETTK product manager, the ETTK 1.0 includes Axis 1.1 Final with additions. 

The ETTK evolved from the package known as the Web Services Toolkit (WSTK).
