[jira] [Comment Edited] (SQOOP-530) Sqoop web page do not conform with Apache rules for public webpages

I spent hours trying to figure out how to get the footer to work for Log4j 2. I ended up having to modify the fluido template as what the default one does wouldn't generate acceptable html. See https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/log4j2/trunk/src/site/site.vm. At the bottom of the Velocity template you will see it is manually generating the footer as two rows that are centered by the css.

I should add that this has nothing to do with the CMS. It is all the maven site plugin and the skin you have chosen.

> Namely:
> * Footer is missing the statement that Apache, Apache Sqoop and the logos are trademarks of the ASF.
> * The release documentation (the stuff built with Sphinx) doesn't even have a copyright.
> * The Sqoop logo also doesn't have the ™ nor does the first usage of "Apache Sqoop"
