[jira] [Commented] (MAPREDUCE-3227) Conflicting information in the YARN-Docs

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAPREDUCE-3227?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13131460#comment-13131460 ]

Bhallamudi Venkata Siva Kamesh commented on MAPREDUCE-3227:
-----------------------------------------------------------

For building the entire mapreduce binaries (yarn + mapreduce), information in the INSTALL file in the hadoop-mapreduce is
{noformat}mvn clean package -Pdist -Dtar -DskipTests -Pnative{noformat}.

I guess same should be updated in the *README* file in the hadoop-yarn directory as well.
