[jira] [Commented] (TAP5-1834) Warn user or disallow zone with
randomly generated id
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAP5-1834?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13720037#comment-13720037 ]
Howard M. Lewis Ship commented on TAP5-1834:
--------------------------------------------
This is becoming increasingly irrelevant in 5.4, unless you have a component *outside* a Zone try to update the Zone; then it needs its id (or some other mechanism for locating the Zone's client-side element).

> Zone with an id generated randomly(ajax request) is useless and confusing developers, is such case there should be a warning or even an exception.
