Evaluating Frameworks
Hello,
Barracuda provides the possibility to add listeners to components so that
server-side event handler will automatically get notified to all registered
listeners when an action occurs on the client.
Is there anything comparable in Cocoon?

Yes, Woody provides exactly this. You should have a look at the Woody
samples:
- http://localhost:8888/samples/woody/form1.flow : "Number fields" section
- http://localhost:8888/samples/woody/carselector : completely
implemented using server-side event handlers.
