svn access fails, build nightly-snapshot from source

hi,

I try to checkout MyFaces with the following command:

svn co https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/myfaces/current current

but I just get the follwing error:

svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/repos/asf/myfaces/current'
svn: PROPFIND of '/repos/asf/myfaces/current': could not connect to
server (https://svn.apache.org)

I'd like to build the current snapshot but when I downloaded the
nightly-snapshot the build files are missing.

Can anybody help me to build the nightly-snapshot from source?

thanks for your reply but http also doesn't work for me.

No problems here.  You might try 'http' just to see if it makes a
difference.  Unless you're a committer, https is optional.

This is probably better addressed to the developers list. :)  There are
build instructions here:  http://myfaces.apache.org/buildhowto.html, and
   $ ant dist-all
seems to do it.

(If you really want to build the entire set of files for the nightly builds,
that seems to be in bootstrap.xml.  It requires a couple of optional
libraries to make the Ant tasks work, however.)
