Hi

During the build process, can I prevent Maven from downloading the
various dependency snapshots? The time taken and bandwidth used is
getting to be a big problem.

Also are there any other things I can do to streamline and quicked the
maven build process.

Thanks

Akhil Srinivasan

Once you have downloaded them, you can use
    maven -o
to build offline (the snapshots are not re-downloaded).
If you want to skip the tests, you can run
    maven -o -Dmaven.test.skip=true
