stream is now frozen for 2.0 alpha 2

There are no bugs currently targeted for alpha 2 (or the old tag 
milestone 1).  I'm just doing some finalizations now, dealing with 
Maven, running checkstyle and such, and will re-label cvs shortly.

I'll give myself a deadline of finishing finalizing the release before 
end of day Saturday Jan 25th.  In the mean time I would like if a little 
extra testing could be done on cvs HEAD.  Only patches addressing 
critical issues or documentation should be submitted untill after the 
release.

The stream is now (re)tagged as HTTPCLIENT_2_0_ALPHA_2

Any checkins are fine at this point.
