The entry editor context menu entry "Show in LDAP Browser" selects the seach result in the "Searches" part of LDAP Browser.
More useful would be to select the right position in the LDAP tree.
There should be two context menu entries:
Show in LDAP Tree
Show in Searches
which would show the corresponding item in LDAP Browser.

I'm working on a fix that will bring two items in the 'Show In' sub-menu.
When a Search Result is opened the sub-menu will show:
- LDAP Browser
- Searches
When a Bookmark is opened the sub-menu will show:
- LDAP Browser
- Bookmarks
When a (simple) Entry is opened the sub-menu will show:
- LDAP Browser (only)
