[jira] Created: (MNGECLIPSE-137) wagon integration issues

wagon integration issues
------------------------

         Key: MNGECLIPSE-137
         URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-137
Project: Maven 2.x Extension for Eclipse
        Type: Bug

    Versions: 0.0.7, 0.0.9
 Environment: Win2000, eclipse 3.1, jdk5_06
    Reporter: darren hartford
 Assigned to: Eugene Kuleshov

There are some problems with the new wagon transports related to security/authentication that work correctly with maven-normal, but do not work with m2eclipse/maven-embedded (tested with wagon-webdav).

Issues related to "[DEBUG] not adding permissions to wagon connection" possibly in the DefaultWagonManager.

Should be reproducable by following http://docs.codehaus.org/display/HAUSMATES/Maven+Guide but use m2eclipse to run instead of maven command-line.

darren hartford commented on MNGECLIPSE-137:
--------------------------------------------

Sorry, I thought it would be easier to show the problem with:
*A project and configuration file already used by codehaus/maven team members.
*Use a secured webdav server already maintained and actively in use by codehaus.

If you prefer, when I have time I'll make my own project file and sample configuration file pointing to an external webdav server that I'll setup.

Eugene Kuleshov commented on MNGECLIPSE-137:
--------------------------------------------

Darren, if you are referring to this project itself, Maven has no support for building Eclipse plugins, so we can't use it on this project and as a result don't have any infrastructure to test your issue. Besides it won't be appropriate to test uploads to the production environment.

Darren, It will significantly increase chances of this issue being resolved if we won't have to do reasearch and reproduce something requiring digging into with limited or no time at all.
