Re: Need Help: Updating the User Guide for new users/administrators, Russian/Spanish/English/German version

Here's the manual for new users in French.
I wasn't able to retake some screenshots since I don't have a clean
openmeetings install.

np :)

Have you seen the update that Alvaro did to the Guide for Version 1.9.1?

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/openmeetings/project/docs/OpenMeetings%201.9.1%20manual%20usuario%20espanol.odt

Maybe it is easier to translate that to French then starting from scratch.

Thanks!
Sebastian

Forget the translation.
One of our intern did it and I just read it this morning.
It's crap.

Sorry for sending it without checking it first.

Hi Guillaume,

sorry for the late reply, I am going to add this document to the SVN.

However we should try to use the standard way of contributions, the
standard way for contributing files would be:
1) You open a new ticket here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa

2) After creation of your issue, you then you choose from the top menu bar
the option "More Actions" > "Attach Files" and upload your file
You can see in the upload window and on the bottom there a checkbox:
"Grant license to ASF for inclusion in ASF works (as per the Apache
License<http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0>§5) "
=> This is important to us, cause that way we make sure all our valuable
contributions are licensed to the Apache Foundation and we are legally okay
... and btw that way you get your full credits in the Release Notes :)

Thanks!
Sebastian
