[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-4147) distributed tests fail randomly on IBM J9

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-4147?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13510649#comment-13510649 ]

Uwe Schindler commented on SOLR-4147:
-------------------------------------

For me this looks like the test is assuming that the order of fields/documents is in some specific order, but maybe it is backed by a HashMap (e.g. SolrInputDocument, whatever). I will check if it is reproducible in this JVM and look at the test. This one fails quite often because of J9.

I have no idea about the server error 500, but that one also occurs with oracle JDK. So this are actually 2 bugs.

> This doesn't happen on other JVM configurations.
> So either something isnt coded to java spec, or J9 has a jvm bug.
