[jira] Created: (JCR-2850) RMI problems prevent proper startup of the Jackrabbit webapp

RMI problems prevent proper startup of the Jackrabbit webapp
------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: JCR-2850
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-2850
             Project: Jackrabbit Content Repository
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: jackrabbit-webapp
    Affects Versions: 2.2.0
            Reporter: Jukka Zitting

A trouble in binding the repository to a RMI registry will prevent the entire Jackrabbit webapp from starting properly. Since RMI is seldom the primary function of the webapp, it's more appropriate to simply log a warning in such cases.
