## comments within multiline comments
Am I missing something, or is it not possible to use #* ... *# to
comment out a section of code that contains ## comments?
I know I can use #if( false ) to achieve the same thing, but if I'm
using a syntax-highlighting editor, it helps to see the whole excised
section as a comment so I don't get confused about what's going to
execute and what isn't.

Oops, I just built a tiny example using 1.3 to illustrate the problem
-- and it worked. I must have been using a buggy build of Velocity
when I got the error before. Never mind.
Thanks anyway for checking.
