Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: FOR-108
Summary: Add "clean" to default target
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Minor

    Project: Forrest
  Component: Building Forrest
   Versions:
             0.6

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Marshall Roch

    Created: Thu, 15 Jan 2004 2:25 AM
    Updated: Thu, 15 Jan 2004 2:26 AM

Description:
A lot of problems building Forrest could easily be solved if people remembered to run "./build.sh clean" before rerunning "./build.sh". By making "clean" one of the default targets, this problem would go away.

Adding a "no-clean" target would still allow people to go the old way, but only if they knew they didn't want to clean first.
