Beta test

I think it's time for a Beta test... Dean's reminders show that
we should be pretty close to having one out soon.

Just for the hell of it, let's say April 7 for a release of the
next Beta. That means final commits by, say, April 1 with
a few days of "internal" testing before we announce the beta.
