2.3-next-M6 release progress

Hi,

Just an update here. I tried to get this release out today but I hit an
issue where the artifacts in nexus didn't include the myfaces-core-assembly
for some unknown reason.

I believe I finally have the tags all cleaned up and back to a clean slate
to try again.

Thanks, Bill Lucy as well for offering a hand in the clean-up.
