Chunker output meaning?

Hi all,

I'm running the ChunkerME class using the provided "en-chunker.bin" with the latest code from trunk, and I can't quite figure out what the meaning of the output is:

>> This red house is a dog house for cats.
Chunk: This B-NP
Chunk: red I-NP
Chunk: house I-NP
Chunk: is B-VP
Chunk: a B-NP
Chunk: dog I-NP
Chunk: house I-NP
Chunk: for B-PP
Chunk: cats B-NP
Chunk: . O

I understand the NP/VP/PP are noun/verb/prepositional phrases, but what is the "I-"/"B-" and how are boundaries decided?
