A plugin calling another backend component (plexus) belonging to another plugin - bad idea ?

TrueZip Maven Plugin has 2 distinct layers:  MOJO and plexus
component.  If another plugin wants to re-use the plexus component via
dependency.  Is there any problem in the long term?

Currently, TrueZip is just too small to split into 2 different jars
and I dont see an incentive to do it yet.

Thoughts?
