[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-16213) Upgrade Jackson to 2.13.3

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16213?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17542032#comment-17542032 ]

Andreas Hubold commented on SOLR-16213:
---------------------------------------

Note that in addition to Solr's direct dependency to Jackson, Solr 8.11.1 also uses htrace-core4-4.1.0-incubating.jar which contains an even older version of Jackson (2.4.0) as shaded classes. Not sure if that's a problem. I just wanted to point out that security scanners would still detect and complain about such shaded classes if CVEs exist for that old version.
