[jira] Closed: (GERONIMO-320) Geronimo Realm provider for existing Tomcat Realm implementations
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-320?page=all ]
Jeff Genender closed GERONIMO-320:
----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Not needed. The Tomcat realms can be used in Geronimo in the Tomcat Container only. We would have to write some sophisticated adapters to leverage the Tomcat pre-built realms to the rest of the container. We should use JAAS and JACC if we need to cross utilize secuity between components.
