I had a build.xml file works fine under JDK 1.4.2. After I upgrade JDK to 1.5,
the ANT build failed with an out of memory error.
After some investigation, I found this is because of the directory name used
in my class path has a "." in it:
<classpath>
<fileset dir="D:/view/bfan_cba_512/modules/reporting/staging/tam-
tbm.ear/xma" >
<include name="*.jar"/>
</fileset>
</classpath>
The "." in "tam-tbm.ear" caused this problem:
[javac] error: error reading D:\view\bfan_cba_512
\modules\reporting\staging\
tam-
tbm.ear\xma\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\
.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.
\
.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\..\lib\jakarta-oro.jar; error in opening zip file
[javac] The system is out of resources.
[javac] Consult the following stack trace for details.
[javac] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
The problem disappeared after I switched back to JDK 1.4

Can you please create a small build setup (directory structure + buildfile) that
illustrates this problem, archive it up (zip or tar.gz) and attach it to this
report?
