PooledConnectionFactory -idleTimeout

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of adding *idleTimeout* property ?
What impact does it make on the connection if idleTimeout is set to "0" ?

<bean id="pooledConnectionFactory"
    class="org.apache.activemq.pool.PooledConnectionFactory"
    depends-on="connectionFactory">
    <property name="connectionFactory" ref="connectionFactory"/>
    <property name="maxConnections" value="1"/>
  *  <property name="idleTimeout" value="0"/>*  </bean>
