回复: RE: 超出Host的VM

其实我们的虚拟化,有两个方向,一个服务器虚拟化为若干个虚拟机来跑业务为大众所熟知和使用

另外一个方向就是把多个物理机器虚拟化为一个胖节点,这个其实也是已经成熟了的技术,在我所在的高性能计算领域也用的不少,最近武汉大学有一个院系就已经找我们提供过这样的整体方案支持.
等我实施完这个项目,可以来和大家一起分享经验.
如果使用上面我说的这种技术的支持,就技术而言,完全可以出现某个虚拟机所分配的资源大于host server cluster中最胖的节点.

可惜这个解决方案比较昂贵,而且底层网络仅允许使用infiniband.软件license也有点小贵.

方便透露联系方式不,商业信息一般单独发的,或者我过去一起聊聊.
胖节点性能为所有节点性能和的90%,损耗基本还能为用户接受,内存直接就是总和.
