compress archives

someone want to compress the more recent (ie. after 9605) new-httpd
archives at "http://dev.apache.org/mail/"? 

...while I don't mind downloading 10 or 20 megs of stuff... saving
bandwidth is good.

Fixed.  I hadn't done that before simply because Win95 Netscape doesn't
uncompress them, but I suppose that's a selfish reason.
