status of display:table taglib

Anybody know the status of the display:table taglib? Here's the current

Supposedly, this tag was either submitted or was going to be submitted to 
the jakarta taglibs project. I am using this tag and have made several 
enhancements to it and wonder if there is anywhere I can commit my changes 
yet? I've tried to contact Ed Hill as it states on the page, but he has 
not written me back. I'm about do do a fairly major refactoring to add in 
some needed functionality and I was hoping to get it checked in and 
publically available.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
