Regarding Integration with Couchbase with Apache drill

Hi Team,

I want to integrate Couchbase 6.0.1 with Apache Drill. Could you please help me in integration .Can we integrate Couchbase 6.0.1 with Apache Drill?

Hi Prem, 
Can you clarify what you mean by integrate Couchbase with Drill?  If you mean can you get Drill to query a Couchbase DB then the answer is you probably can do that.  Writing storage plugins are challenging however, and do require a good understanding of Drill internals as well as the system to which you are trying to connect.

Alternatively, and perhaps a much simpler approach would be to use Drill's RDBMS plugin.  I saw that Couchbase has a JDBC driver, so in theory you could query Couchbase using that. I'd be curious to hear how well this worked if you choose to go down this route.
