I've been thinking about arbitrary transformations for a while now and think we can provide a few basic ones as plugins / modules that ship with Ωedit. We can being with one for one byte bit twiddling (AND, OR, XOR) for a given range. We can then move on to more advanced algorithmic data changes over ranges that may not be byte for byte, like compression, (de,en)cryption and so forth. I have added this to the Ωedit repo as https://github.com/ctc-oss/omega-edit/issues/1421.

Based on Davin's comments above, I am moving this issue from 1.6.0 milestone to 1.7.0 milestone.
