> [A recent email to dev@|http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/hbase-dev/201408.mbox/%3CCAAef%2BM4q%3Da8Dqxe_EHSFTueY%2BXxz%2BtTe%2BJKsWWbXjhB_Pz7oSA%40mail.gmail.com%3E] highlighted the difficulty that new users can face in getting HBase compiled from source and running locally. I'd like to provide a Dockerfile that would allow anyone with Docker running on a machine with a reasonably current Linux kernel to do so with ease.
