[jira] [Commented] (BAHIR-10) Create new sql data source for Object Store/Swift

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BAHIR-10?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15333689#comment-15333689 ]

Steve Loughran commented on BAHIR-10:
-------------------------------------

what do you mean by SQL OS? It's just a blobstore, and already has an fs client in hadoop-openstack.

In SPARK-7481 I'm proposing a new module spark-cloud with examples and integration tests for s3, azure and openstack, though I've not done any tests for swift yet. the module is designed to set up the dependencies for spark-assembly to pull in the hadoop JARs, leaving the external ones the responsibility of the user. For swift that's the usual suspects: jackson, httpclient; stuff that is already in the assembly
