Image path alternatives

I have a problem to solve.

I have a file path that is outside the wicket application path. This path
is used to store product images and my goal is to design a screen with a
resultset that show the products and their images by its side.

What is the best way to do that? I have the search showing the product
info, but the image part is my doubt.

The ResourceReference seems to be, as far as I know, inappropriate because
it assumes that the resource is inside the aaplication path, right? What is
a good alternative? how to do it?

Have you tried searching for this? It has been asked many times. Try the
following links, and then if you can't find the answer or need help, reply
back.
