[jira] Created: (AXISCPP-983) Windows Mobile

Windows Mobile
---------------

         Key: AXISCPP-983
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXISCPP-983
     Project: Axis-C++
        Type: Bug

    Versions: 1.6 Final
Environment: VS 2005; Windows Mobile 2005 SDK; Win XP SP2
    Reporter: Manfred Pauli

Hello,

i want to use Axis C++ on a Windows mobile PDA. So I tried to compile and build a application using Axis C++. But I get an linker error:
There is a conflict with module computer "X86" and destination computer "THUMB" (This isn't the original message, because I had to translate it from German to English).
Do I have to use another axis_client.lib /.dll? Or isn't there a possibility to run Axis C++ Clients on a Windows mobile plattform?

Thank you very much,

Greetings, Manfred

Adrian Dick commented on AXISCPP-983:
-------------------------------------

Hi,

It sounds like you will need to recompile Axis C++ specifically for the Windows mobile platform, using the ANT scripts.
We'll be interested in any changes you may need to make to support this platform.
