Where to get JAXP-compatible XML parser?
I'm trying to run on NT under jdk1.3 the latest Tomcat build and it fails to
find an XML parser. Adding to classpath the xml.jar from Tomcat 3.1 release
build doesn't help since it, I guess, isn't "JAXP"-compatible. So where do I
get the one, quoting the tomcat.bat "such as the "jaxp.jar" and "parser.jar"
files from the JAXP Reference implementation"?
Thanks.

Download the JAXP reference implementation that includes "jaxp.jar" and
"parser.jar".
Add these two JAR files to your classpath (or put them in $TOMCAT_HOME/lib -- this
now works on both Unix and Windows systems with the most recent nightly releases).

I use and like the xml parser from IBM. They've got some pretty good stuff
at that site. We're using a log class that is very extensible.
