Number fields avoids saving decimal points and characters but allows minus values. Even when user enters decimal, characters, etc... user can save the record successfully. No warning or error message given.

Only when retrieved the record back would be able to see that the values given was not actually saved. Better to give tooltips on the value range allowed in these fields. Should restrict decimal, characters and mini values.
