[jira] [Created] (CB-12702) Android signing using PKCS12 requires an alias

Remco Haszing created CB-12702:
----------------------------------

Summary: Android signing using PKCS12 requires an alias
                 Key: CB-12702
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-12702
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Android
            Reporter: Remco Haszing
            Priority: Minor

I'm using a PKCS12 store for signing an Android app. This requires an alias setting of {{"1"}}.

Instead of requiring this setting in _build.json_, I think it would be much nicer if either Cordova doesn't require this, or if it is required, Cordova will just set this value by default.

If I misunderstood how app signing works when using PKCS12, then I think the documentation should explain the differences between using a Java keystore and a PKCS12 file.
