[jira] [Closed] (ROL-301) Want to show blog entries in ascending chrono order

Glen Mazza closed ROL-301.
--------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

I don't think there's enough demand for this (I'm not aware of any blogging tool that provides this); also, this would make the Roller weblogger look bad to the outside community as people would think that it displays blog entries in ascending chronological order by default.

> I want to have the choice to be able to display the blog entries in ascending chronological order. Currently, all blog entries are shown in reverse chronological order.
> It'd be really cool if this was an option for the vm macro showWeblogEntries. I may really be showing my Velocity newbieness here -- digging through the Velocity docs, I can't seem to figure out how to reverse a list prior to a foreach(), or how to instantiate a java.util.Stack and dump the entries into it.
> Cheers, sproaticus
