pasv v.s. active
Hi Niklas,
It has been a while since I last contacted you. Since then I have been
able to get my implementation of Apache FTPserver to work on my AIX
server only in PASV mode. It still throws the same exception when I use
active data connections via the client :
org.apache.ftpserver.IODataConnectionFactory createDataSocket
WARNING: FtpDataConnection.getDataSocket()
java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out:could be due to invalid
address at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.doConnect(PlainSocketImpl.java:336)
at
java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connectToAddress(PlainSocketImpl.java:201)
Is there another special implementation I must do to get it to work in
both situations behind my load balancer/firewall?
Thanks,
Ralph Philistine
