SVN and LyX
Hi,
I use LyX for technical document writings. LyX provides its own
version control which will generate another file <filename>.lyx,v in
the same directory. It is a local VC like emacs. Is there a way to
let LyX work with svn? Or rather, how do I use LyX with svn? I am
interesting in merging changes from many other writers. Any pointers?
Thanks.
Best regards,

What Andy said.
By the way, those ",v" files probably mean LyX is using RCS for its
version control (RCS is an older system, independent of LyX).

You'll probably have better luck asking in a LyX support venue if
you're looking for integration help.
If you can turn the versioning off entirely, then you can use LyX just
like any other program - check out from a repository, open the file,
make your edits, and commit the file.
