Summary: Latency time is not included in the summary report
Product: JMeter
Version: 2.2
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Main
AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: tongj@cbc.ca
Latency time is the same important metric as elapsed time. However it's logged
in XML output file only for now. Can you include it in CSV output file as well
as in summary/aggregate reports ? That will be very helpful for JMeter users.
Thanks.

Can certainly add the column to the CSV output.
It would be OK to add average/min/max etc latency, but a single latency column
would not be much use - which should it be?
Adding all these extra columns would make the report very busy. Perhaps a better
solution would be to be able to choose between elapsed and latency for
populating the avg/min/max etc columns?

I think that's a great idea. To allow user to choose the time they want to
track upon their situation should be always welcome.
