qpid messaging connection open

Hi all,

I used qpid client messaging 1.35
I have a litle question about the void Connection::open()

When I try a connection with a broker, for any reason if the broker is not
present, I am block on the open function ????
what is happen, must I set some options on the Connection object to not be
block???
