[jira] Issue Comment Edited: (WICKET-2926) DateTimeField calendar not displaying properly in IE7 in a modal

It seems very counter intuitive to have to the modal "inside" the form especially when trying to establish a reusable Modal window mechanism that can be used for modal forms or simple modal panels.

It's especially strange that doing it the intuitive way works fine in every browser than IE7 & IE8 (nothing unusual about IE standing out as the problem browser though). In all other aspects doing it the intuitive way actually works in IE. It's only when we have a DateTimeField that it screws up.

I've just verified that the DateTimeField is still a problem in 1.5-rc2 if you layout components in the standard/intuitive way: form inside the modal instead of modal inside the form.

> DateTimeField calendar not displaying properly in IE7 in a modal. It displays fine in a page and a wizard but does not display correctly in a modal. It does work in firefox in all scenarios.
