Also same issue here, but why is this bug marked "invalid"? Can someone explain
why, if a work-around is required, the bug has been marked as invalid?

I can confirm that this happens for me too on CentOS release 4.4 (Final). Adding
the --with-included-apr fixes the problem.

$ ./configure [any arguments you pass] > output
and then attach the "output" file, and the "config.log" which is produced using
the bugzilla attachment feature.

happen though)
