[jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-3436) Redundant router: inconsistent ip routing table between the routers

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-3436?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13705150#comment-13705150 ]

Sheng Yang commented on CLOUDSTACK-3436:
----------------------------------------

To verify the bug:

Check if "ip rule" is consistent across the VRs after boot up.
Assign multiple public ip ranges to VR, check if "ip rule" shows the same result.
Remove some additional public nics from VR, check "ip rule" again.

>
> Two routers would show inconsistent routing table using:
> ip rule
> command.
> e.g.
> MASTER:
> 0:from all lookup local
> 32762:from all fwmark 0x3 lookup Table_eth3
> 32763:from 10.223.161.64/26 lookup Table_eth3
> 32764:from all fwmark 0x2 lookup Table_eth2
> 32765:from 10.223.161.0/26 lookup Table_eth2
> 32766:from all lookup main
> 32767:from all lookup default
> BACKUP:
> 0:from all lookup local
> 32762:from all fwmark 0x3 lookup Table_eth3
> 32764:from all fwmark 0x2 lookup Table_eth2
> 32766:from all lookup main
> 32767:from all lookup default
> The problem is with ipassoc.sh which didn't take interface which is DOWN in BACKUP router into consideration.
