controlling zooming

Hi,

 

Is there a way to control zooming in such a way that the resultant zoom
image

wouldn't go out of bounds of the window? I'm particularly concerned with the

lasso ("rubber band") zoom in specifically at the edges of the svg image. 

When zooming out again using JSVGCanvas ZoomOut Action, the resulting

image tends to be misaligned and no longer centered in the window.
