HDFS Repo not working

Hi,
I believe I may have ran into this issue:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-149

I am seeing the following error logs in my xa_portal.log:

2016-05-20 15:51:00,314 [timed-executor-pool-0] INFO  org.apache.ranger.plugin.client.BaseClient (BaseClient.java:100) - Init Login: using username/password

2016-05-20 15:51:00,449 [http-bio-6080-exec-7] ERROR org.apache.ranger.biz.ServiceMgr (ServiceMgr.java:120) - ==> ServiceMgr.validateConfig Error:java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: org.apache.ranger.plugin.client.HadoopException: listFilesInternal: Unable to get listing of files for directory /null] from Hadoop environment [Dagobah_hadoop].

Do I really need to format my Namenode in order to get the HDFS repo working? Won't that delete all of my files?

Thanks.

RE: HDFS Repo not working

I have since resolved this.

In the Ranger UI, under HDFS repo configuration I needed to change the username from `rangerrepouser` to `rangerrepouser@AD.EXAMPLE`
