Have you done 'make swig-py' and 'make install-swig-py'?

I have been using svnfor a while and I am now trying to get viewcvs working,

but the svn module is not found.  'import svn.repos' fails in the python 
command mode, so the installation is not right.  Obviously I have done the 
usual 'make install'.  A search for 'repos' only finds it in the subversion 
source directory.  What am I missing?
